The city has built state-of-the-art bomb shelters with a remote door opening system, so all of the shelters can be opened in a matter of seconds, by a simple push of a button. The mayor said that he hoped that steps would not be taken by the terrorist organizations and that we would enter another round of confrontation. Glan said that no matter the scenario, Ashkelon would be prepared to deal with the threat. "I trust the Israeli government to prepare for the terrorist organizations in Gaza, as we were promised in the past. If another round of confrontation with Gaza begins, it is necessary for the government to make it the final round. The citizens of Ashkelon are tired of living in shelters.
