Dancing Israel-Japan
In the social space at Atarim Square, a screening of an outdoor film was held - OUTSIDE - 外. The film is the first collaboration between the choreographer Inbal Pinto and the writer Etgar Keret, who together created a video dance film "Outside," based on a short story Keret wrote during the Corona closure.
The project was initiated by Aryeh Rosen, the cultural attaché of the Israeli embassy in Japan, and with the support of the Foreign Ministry, with a desire to continue to promote Israeli art around the world, create collaborations between Israeli and international artists and try to tell new stories even during a plague and a global closure.
"Outside" was screened at international urban premieres on giant screens in Times Square, New York and in Shibuya in Tokyo.
