According to the far-left NGO, 2020 has become a 'record' year in 'settlement construction’ since they began monitoring in 2012. Following the approval of 4,948 new housing units in Judea and Samaria yesterday and today in the Supreme Planning Council, the number of units advanced so far this year is 12,159. These approvals reflect only a first, small step in the long construction process, but it’s a noteworthy achievement nonetheless. Judea and Samaria are key parts of our ancestral homeland. Israeli communities in those areas bolster Israel’s security and protect Israel’s economy. And perhaps above all, they exemplify justice, morality, and modern-day Zionism. We shall continue to advocate for Israeli sovereignty in all parts of our ancestral homeland, stand up for Jewish national and individual rights, and pursue a path of true peace and prosperity for the entire region.
