Netanyahu Secretly Meets With Saudi Prince Prime Minister Netanyahu secretly flew to Saudi Arabia last night for a brief meeting with its Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Netanyahu’s palne left Israel at 8:00 pm and five hours later was already on its way back. A senior Saudi official told the Wall Street Journal that the three discussed the Iranian nuclear deal and potential normalization with Israel. According to the source, no agreement has been reached yet. Israel and Saudi Arabia share the same interests, which derive from a shared perspective; seeing the changing Middle East and viewing Iran as the enemy. Over the years the countries have had secret collaborations, but a peace agreement between the two has yet to come.
