The new U.S. President, Joe Biden, has expressed several times in the past his intention to return to the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran, the very one President Trump backed out of due to it enabling Iran to develop a nuclear weapon. In the last four years, Israel knew it had a true friend and ally in the White House, one who sees the Iranian threat eye-to-eye as it does and that will have its back in fighting it.
