ICC to Investigate Israeli "War Crimes" The The International Criminal Court (ICC) in Hague announced today (Wednesday) the opening of an investigation of Israel's "war crimes in Gaza, Judea and Samaria". In the message by the prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, it was said that the investigation will focus on crimes that were allegedly committed in these areas, as well as in East Jerusalem, from June 13th 2014, before the IDF's "Protective Edge" operation began. The Judea and Samaria Council called this decision by the ICC Antisemitic and said: "The ICC proved today that it has no interest in bringing justice, but rather to terrorize the State of Israel. The communities of Judea, Samaria and the Jordan Valley are legal and comply with all regulations". "The Antisemitism that guides the ICC", added the Council, "is another part in a long chain of tales that are far from reality. We call upon the government to stand strong against these voices".
