Do you know the "village of springs" of Israel?
More than 40 springs originate within the Druze village of Ein Kinia in the Golan Heights, which recently branded itself as the "Village of Springs."
These days, a route is planned that will pass between them, and with a culinary scene that is developing, 20 B & Bs that are already hosts and a truly perfect view - this is no longer a place on the way to Mount Hermon.
At an altitude of 750 meters above sea level, it has a 14th-century Ein Kinya with 2,400 Druze inhabitants.
The only Christian family left in the village
We continued to see some tombs of prophets and sites sacred to the Druze religion.
But even before that, a mandatory stop at the only church currently active in the Golan Heights and built in 1925 - Mr. Jerry.
In the village there is another church (bearing the name of Peter) and it is older, but only remnants of walls can be seen in it, and a tomb of the priest located near the ruins of the building. Although it is full of garbage, Mugrabi assures that it is a structure for preservation. Let's hope so.
