Medical Cooperation Between Israel and Bahrain! As part of agreements reached between Israel and Bahrain, and after the Sheba Medical Center was chosen by the Supreme Council of Health in Bahrain to lead cooperation between the countries in the field of health, a meeting was held today between the director of Sheba Medical Center, Prof. Yitzhak Kreis, and the director of Suleimania Hospital, Dr. Ahmad al - Ansari. At the meeting, a series of collaborations were agreed upon, in the areas of training of medical staff, knowledge sharing, joint research, technology, and innovation. An official visit by the director of Suleimaniya Hospital to Israel was also planned, to formulate the details of the agreement between the parties. This cooperation, the first of its kind, is the result of the hard work of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the head of the Israeli delegation in Bahrain, Mr. Itai Tegner.
