BREAKING: Houthi reports two killed in US drone strike near Marib

The Houthi-run “Saba” news agency claims that two people were killed in a motorcycle attack carried out by a CENTCOM drone east of the city of Marib in Yemen. According to the report, the strike targeted the pair while they were traveling on a rural road outside the city.

The Houthis immediately accused the US of escalating its direct involvement in Yemen, although Washington has not issued any comment on the alleged strike.

The area east of Marib has seen repeated clashes between Houthi forces and local tribal units aligned with the internationally recognized government.
