Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reports from it's extensive sources of a new round of airstrikes by Russian fighter jets on the Syrian desert, as they targeted ISIS positions in Al-Rasafa desert in Al-Raqqah province. No casualties have been reported.

Accordingly, the number of airstrikes executed by Russian fighter jets since the beginning of January 2022 has exceeded 125.

A few hours ago, SOHR sources reported that Russian fighter jets executed 12 airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in the deserts of south Deir Ezzor and Al-Rasafah in north-east Al-Raqqah, amid flights by Russian reconnaissance aircrafts over the Syrian desert.
