The Regavim movement is responding to the state's response to the Khan al-Ahmar case, which was submitted to the High Court this evening.

The state's response states that it will request an additional period of six months to submit the state's position, during which a confidential document will be presented that will detail all the considerations facing the state regarding the enforcement of demolition orders at the site.

Meir Deutsch, director general of the Regavim movement, sharply criticizes the state's response, and the conduct of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

"From the first day of the current government, we have said that the government will be examined in its actions and not in its statements," Deutsch says. "Today we see that contrary to the statements, the current government continues the dangerous line of its predecessor, and manages its law enforcement system according to the whims of foreign countries."

"The basis for anarchy is law enforcement in a selective and selective manner. There can be no population group that gains immunity from law enforcement because of international pressure, while the law is enforced against another population."

Regavim mentions that in the past, the state claimed in the High Court that it would postpone law enforcement in Khan al-Ahmar, for fear that this would initiate proceedings in the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

"In this conduct, the State of Israel is broadcasting that it is a guest on the ground, when in fact it controls Judea and Samaria for a longer period of time than the British Mandate and the Jordanian occupation combined," notes Deutsch.

"It is time to act on the ground as homeowners and as the sovereign body responsible for law enforcement in the area, both under international law and in accordance with the historic right of the State of Israel to the territories of Judea and Samaria."
