The Prime Minister spoke with the President of Russia and thanked him for clarifying his attitude toward the Jewish people and the memory of the Holocaust. 

This is after Lavrov's remarks led to a serious crisis in relations between the two countries since 2018. 

On the other hand, the Kremlin statement did not mention anything about the apology, but claimed that the importance of Victory Day over Nazi Germany was emphasized.
