Moroccans took to the streets on Sunday to protest the cost of living, the violation of freedom of expression and against normalization with Israel. The exception in yesterday's protest was that it took place even though the authorities passed to the organizers an official order banning the demonstration.

The demonstration was organized by the "Moroccan Social Front", a pro-Palestinian social movement, during which derogatory slogans were heard against the agreement with Israel. The protesters were also outraged at the prolongation of the state of emergency by the authorities due to the Corona plague and claimed that they were living "in a police state".
