Looking over the latest Israeli news websites, I went to look for news about the huge forest fire that burned large areas around the capital, Jerusalem last week. One might think that this would be an easy task. It wasn’t.

Finally, in the English version of Arutz 7, I found what I was looking for:

Fire broke out in three separate places, four kilometers apart. Findings strengthen assumption that the fire was a result of arson.

This is after it took Israel four days to stop this fire. Thankfully, maybe miraculously, no one was hurt, but many houses were destroyed and hundreds of families had to be evacuated. The skies from Jerusalem all the way south to Gush Etzion and beyond were blackened.

For days we heard all the Media bring out the usual suspects: Human error, the heat, Climate change, even though there were sightings of the fire starting in more than one area – a sign of arson.

And now, maybe uncomfortably for some Israeli journalists or government officials, NASA satellites have confirmed that the fire was indeed arson. Another article, soon to be buried in the Jerusalem Post added that the “Israeli Security Agency” better known by its nickname “The Shabak” is being involved in the investigation of this arson.

The media nor the government wishes to say it out loud, but sometimes the simplest answer is the correct one.

This is a case of Arab Terrorism. The question is why is such an obvious fact not being spoken about?

The Bennett government, the strangest government coalition in Israel’s history hangs on the delicate thread of the first Arab party to enter the Israeli government. Without Raam – the House of Cards running Israel will fall.

The media does not want to talk about it for the usual reason - it doesn’t fit their agenda.

This needs to be spoken about. The Jerusalem area in the last few years has been especially hit by rash of fires, many of them thought to be from started by Arab arsonists.

Our leaders do not want to face this issue, and it seems it is up to us, the citizens to demand action. As long as we keep silent, this type of terrorism will continue, and as we have learned in the past – it will have devestating results. Do not be silent!
