In an impressive ceremony with a lot of impressive pyrotechnics, music and speeches, the world exhibition "Expo 2020" was officially opened tonight in Dubai. Due to the spread of the corona the event was postponed for a year. The exhibition will run for 182 days and will include about 190 national pavilions, including that of Israel.

The impressive ceremony was attended by the leaders of the United Arab Emirates, including the current ruler Muhammad bin Zayed, as well as the ruler of Dubai and his son, his heir to the throne, who was honored to announce the opening. Along with speeches, famous artists from the Gulf region and abroad performed when the ceremony was signed by the Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli in a great performance. Dubai hopes that over the next six months this world-famous event will attract some 25 million tourists.
