According to Arab sources, led by Lebanese opinion leader Azzam Naaman:
1. Arab pressure is mounting on Syria to respond to the accumulation of Israeli attacks in its territory.
2. Furthermore, there is a call for "forcing on Israel the equations of deterrence as they exist against Hezbollah," and immediately.
In addition, "the reasons that prevented Syria from responding in the past are still true, but it is inconceivable that they will continue to use them as excuses because Hezbollah continues to confront Israel despite a long list of challenges."
4. The events in which it may be decided to act against Israel in the near future are as follows:
* The nuclear deal that is expected to be signed soon between Iran and the powers will result in the release of large sums of money to Iran, funds that can increase Syria's capabilities against Israel.
* "During this period, Israel suffers from an economic and social imbalance that allows Syria to face it temporarily without heavy consequences."
* The need is immediate, as the recent increase in Israeli attacks has weakened Syria in the face of its enemies within the country.
* "The main factor in Hezbollah's success in deterring Israel is the organization's desire to go to war." Therefore, Syria's war response against Israel will send the same message and then the obstacles will diminish anyway.
