Hezbollah sets up Captagon drug factory in southern Syria

Yesterday, Saturday, local sources in the southern Syrian province of al-Sawida reported that a group of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia was overseeing the construction of a large narcotics factory in the province.

According to the Zeitun media agency, the a-Suida 24 network, which deals with the province's news report, citing private sources, made it clear that the same group had started setting up a factory to produce narcotic pills, Captagon, which is called "the poor mans cocaine" and widly used among the many malitians and terror groups in the Middle East.

They added that the Hezbollah-affiliated group oversees the establishment of the plant, with the support of local groups affiliated with the Assad regime's intelligence.
