The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued an official statement saying that the Bennett-Lapid government supports neo-Nazis in Ukraine, following a storm surrounding Foreign Minister Lavrov's statement that Hitler had Jewish roots. Lapid responded to Lavrov's remarks yesterday, saying they were "scandalous and unforgivable"

"Lapid ignores the plague of demolishing monuments in memory of the true Righteous Among the Nations - Red Army soldiers who stopped the Holocaust and saved the Jewish people," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. "How many times has the Israeli Foreign Ministry summoned the ambassadors of Poland, Bulgaria, and the Baltic states to protest?"
