US: Israel will participate in the international naval exercise RIMPC

Twenty-six countries, including Israel, 38 ships, four submarines, nine units of land forces of several countries, more than 170 aircraft and 25,000 military personnel will participate in the RIMPC exercise to be held from June 29 to August 4.
The maneuver will take place mainly around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California and NAVAL TODAY reports that Israel will be among the participating states.
The diversified naval maneuvering program includes topics such as rescue operations, security operations at sea, missile launches, anti-submarine activities, prevention of piracy at sea, battles between vessels, amphibious operations, naval artillery, removal of marine mines and explosives at sea, diving.
