According to sources in Beirut, the special American envoy for energy issues, Amos Hochstein, is expected to arrive in Lebanon soon with a "new Israeli proposal" aimed at resolving the maritime border crisis.

As may be recalled, last April, the talks came to a dead end due to the hardening of the Lebanese position.

Now the sources have stated that "Israel and the United States are in a hurry to reach an agreement before March, so the Israelis will start drilling gas in the "Shark Field", and they want not to be exposed to any risks during the exploration process."
