BBC: Iran agents work as "content inspectors" in Instagram

The BBC reveals in the investigation that the Iranian regime has succeeded in infiltrating workers on its behalf to work for Telus International, which is responsible for supervising the content that appears on Instagram.
According to the investigation, 13 Iranian officials acted within this company to remove content and accounts on Instagram that oppose the Iranian regime, including content related to the popular protests.
The investigation was opened following complaints from opponents of the Iranian regime that their Instagram accounts had been blocked and content they had published had been removed.
