Russia: We attacked a US-supported militia in Syria
The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed, last weekend, that Russian warplanes attacked a group of fighters who have US support and training and were stationed in the al-Tanaf region.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that "on August 4, Russian fighter jets, after preliminary reconnaissance operations, eliminated a group of fighters from the Khalli al-Qariatein Brigade - the Martyrs' Brigade group, this group was hiding in pre-prepared shelters in the desert area."
