An article published in the New York Post describes the life of the renowned film director who has lived in the country in recent years since his marriage to Daniela Pick. "Living Under the Radar in a Villa in the Sunny Mediterranean Metropolis"
According to the article, it took an entire day for the Israeli press to discover that Tarantino was walking around the maternity ward of Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv earlier this month, when he and his wife, Daniela Pick, were expecting a second child to join their two-year-old son, Leo.
Karni, a woman who gave birth to her daughter at the time in Ichilov, said: "I heard that Tarantino was there from our midwife, but I never saw him."
The renowned director says they have been living "under the radar, in the sunny Mediterranean metropolis, for three years now." Tarantino, 59, and Pick, 38, met back in 2009, when he premiered his film "Disrespectful Bastards" in Israel.
Tarantino first settled in Israel after finishing the production of "Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood" in 2019, and planned to split his time between Tel Aviv and Los Angeles, but the Corona plague came - and he never left Israel.
Since then, the Oscar-winning director has become a fairly ordinary Tel Aviv dad - the kind that locals regularly encounter walking down the street or attending a toddler’s birthday party with his child, at a local playground.
