Professor Eugene Kontorovich, Director of International Law at the Jerusalem-based Kohelet Policy Forum decried the Biden administration of re-joining UNESCO after the Trump pull-out.

Kontorovich said about the recent UNESCO decision to "ethnically cleanse Jews from the history of Jericho," at a time when Jews were celebrating the Jewish New Year by gifting this as a Palestinian cultural site."

At the same time, UNESCO turns a blind eye to the Palestinian Authority's ongoing destruction of Second Temple era antiquities in the area, which is a cultural and educational theft and an abomination to science, the three principles upon which UNESCO was created.
