An IDF delegation led by the Major General of the Depth Command arrived in Bahrain this week and held talks to strengthen the cooperation of operations with the US Army and the armies of the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.
Soldiers from paratrooper units of the IDF, the army of Bahrain, the army of the United Arab Emirates and the army of the United States held a joint parachute drop in Bahrain yesterday (Wednesday) to mark two years since the Abraham Accords, according to three sources familiar with the matter.
It was the first time that Israeli soldiers parachuted into one of the Gulf countries. The event is intended to mark the strengthening of military cooperation between the United States, Israel, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
