More information on the Iranian presence in eastern Syria. According to sources in the area, a large pool of missiles controlled by Iranian militias is located at the military airport of Deir a-Zour. According to the report, the Revolutionary Guards took advantage of sites at the former civilian airport and turned it into a facility for storing UAVs and missiles.

The commander of the Iranian force at the airport and the person in charge of the missile depot is known as Haj Mahdi, who previously served as the commander of the Iranian militias in eastern Syria.
