Jordanians have no water to drink
Doron Peskin, Middle East Expert 13.05.2022
Sources in the Jordanian Ministry of Water and Irrigation believe that the water situation this summer will be similar to last year. The ministry estimates that the drinking water deficit in the kingdom in the summer will be about 40 million cubic meters.
The ministry explains that the development of new water sources will take a long time, especially since Jordan's groundwater is depleted, in addition to lower-than-average rainfall.
The question is whether Jordan in its distress will turn to Israel again to get more water, and what will Israel answer in such a case?
