Hebrew University researchers published Tuesday a report noting that an ascent of hospitalized covid-19 patients on artificial respirators has begun.

They also expressed concern that without imposing significant restrictions, the rising trend will continue, with an expected number of 200 to 400 serious patients in the middle of August.

The report referred to the Netherlands and Britain, two countries that lifted most coronavirus restrictions, and had a decrease in morbidity. However, they noted, there is no basis to assume that the same development will occur in Israel.
