Dozens of professors at the Open University have decided: The Department of "Israeli Studies" will be called the Department of "Israeli and Palestinian Studies".

Their decision, which will be submitted later to the Senate for approval, stipulates that in the future development track of the division and the degree, more weight should be given to courses in "Palestinian" aspects. Humanities and social sciences students will study "Israeli and Palestinian studies."
