The Ministerial Committee for Legislation approved four private members' bills and two members of Torah Judaism - an unprecedented number in the 24th Knesset.

For the most part the committee did not approve the opposition proposals, and coalition members would vote against them in the preliminary readings. The coalition hopes to buy relative quiet until the end of the Knesset session.
