Iraqi security forces in Baghdad and other parts of the west and north of the country are on alert, ahead of any security escalation against US interests in the country, on the eve of the second anniversary of the deaths of the Revolutionary Guards' Quds Force commander, General Qassem Suleimani, January 3, 2020

Iranian Foreign Ministry:
