Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah threatened Israel this evening (Wednesday), saying that "any damage to the al-Aqsa Mosque will lead to a major explosion in the area and lead to undesirable results." Next Sunday, calling it a "great provocation."

"The Palestinian resistance has chosen to respond to any attack on the al-Aqsa Mosque," he said. "The enemy government must not take a step that will have catastrophic consequences for the existence of the temporary entity. The flag parade is a great provocation and we have seen some calls to destroy the Dome of the Rock."

He further noted that Hezbollah has been "on alert and assessments since 1982. Hezbollah has not been as strong as it is today, in all areas."
