The Center for Media Studies (Institute for Palestinian Media) submitted a petition to the High Court, through Adv. Maurice Hirsch. The claim: The Israeli government violates the offsetting law that it itself initiated,

Israeli governments are systematically violating legislation regarding the freezing of Palestinian Authority funds intended as payment to terrorists in Israeli prisons. This is a gift worth half a billion NIS and a violation of Israeli law. Now, the High Court will be required to examine the legality of the government's actions.
