During his visit to the country, the defense minister met with his counterpart and the two signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU)for cooperation that would help strengthen relations.

He will later speak with the chief of staff, the head of the Mossad and senior staff members, as well as with the foreign minister. 

"We will continue to strengthen ties," he said before boarding the plane.
