IDF spokesperson: IDF forces and a defense unit in the Israel Police thwarted an attempt to smuggle drugs worth about NIS 3 million

At night, IDF observations identified a number of suspects approaching Israeli territory from the Egyptian border, in the area of the Paran Territorial Brigade.

After space searches, the suspects were apprehended by security forces. At the same time, scans were conducted by the forces and the drugs that were removed were found in several places.

The suspects and drugs were taken for police investigation.
