The source told the Turkish news agency Anadolu that the understandings between the organization's leadership and Cairo are about strengthening the calm in Gaza, and promoting the process of rehabilitating the Strip. 

He said that in the talks the issue of the exchange of prisoners with Israel also came up, and the parties exchanged some ideas and suggestions, but no real progress has been made on the issue so far.

The report on the lull agreement comes on days of relative security lull in the Gaza Strip, but it was preceded by several weeks of great tension that culminated in an incident in which Border Patrol fighter Barel Hadaria Shmueli was killed in clashes with protesters at the border fence, and Rockets fired at Israeli territory.
