After breaking into the compound of Beit Orot, the car of Rabbi Dov Lior, one of the senior rabbis in a national religious community, was set on fire tonight after allegedly Molotov cocktails were thrown by Arabs at his home in East Jerusalem. During the night, more Molotov cocktails were thrown at the Beit Orot compound where he lives.

MK Bezalel Smotrich, the chairman of religious Zionism, commented on this: "Terrorism is raising its head again and needs to be eradicated. Terrorism against rabbis is crossing another red line, I call on the Israeli government to come to its senses immediately."
