A special source revealed to the reporter of the Media River network new details about the results of the American bombing of Iranian sites in Deir a-Zour two days ago.

The source said the bombing killed a senior Iranian commander named Hajj Abbas, the deputy of Hajj Hussein - in charge of the Revolutionary Guards in the Myadin region. Hajj Abbas was formerly the commander of the Iranian militias in the Salihia area, west of Albuqmal.

The source confirmed that buildings and warehouses in a military camp of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards were bombed at the al-Khidriya farm, south of the city of al-Myadin, east of Deir a-Zour. 

The US-led international coalition two days ago bombed Iranian military sites in the eastern Syrian region of Deir a-Zour, in response to the fall of a number of rockets near an international coalition base at the Hakal (oil field) al-Omar base, east of Deir a-Zor.

The artillery fire and missile fire took place, at the dawn of last Wednesday, between the Iranian militias located on the south bank of Deir a-Zor (east of Perth) and the international coalition forces (west of Perth).

A reporter for the Syrian news network "Media River" said that Iranian militias fired at the base (al-Omar oil field) in the desert area near the town of Diban, east of Deir a-Zor, 4 shells, and the sounds of explosions were heard in villages and towns near Diban .

International coalition forces responded with a counterattack, around 7 a.m. that day, by bombing a number of Iranian military sites in the eastern rural area of Deir a-Zour.
The bombing was accompanied by intensive flights of UAVs belonging to the international coalition throughout the eastern countryside of Deir a-Zor.

It is worth noting that this bombing came days after the international coalition discovered a missile launcher near the base (Koniko gas field) east of Deir a-Zor, intended to attack the base, and hours after a drone, which apparently belonged to international coalition forces, attacked Iranian positions in the desert area Of the cities of al-Ashra and al-Quria in the rural area east of Deir a-Zor.
