NEWSRAEL: This is actually a very important report. While the world is focused on the tension and danger of Arab riots - normal Israeli families are more worried about traffic jams, impatient kids in the backseat, and if they will find a place to vacation and have a good time together.

In this year when Passover, Easter and Ramadan converge, the parks are full of Jews, Christians and Muslims, each celebrating their holiday with the family in the beautiful weather we are having!

Tens of thousands of Israelis traveled today on the occasion of Passover holiday, and with them came the traffic jams. Heavy traffic is recorded on Road 1 between Azor and Mikve Israel and on Road 4 from Ramat Efal to Givat Shmuel. 

The heavy traffic at the Taba crossing (into the Sinai desert) is expected to continue throughout the week, with already 5,000 Israelis expected to cross into Egypt alone today.

The Sabbath has arrived and with it today (Sunday) the Israelis went on a trip around the country and in Sinai. The Nature and Parks Authority said that about 150,000 hikers have already arrived at the nature reserve and national parks, and that many people are under heavy load. Also during the day, 63,500 passengers are expected on 47 international flights. In addition, the 15 quiet beaches in the Sea of Galilee were closed due to congestion.

As of 3:20 PM, a very heavy load was reported on Road 6 north from Kfar Sirkin to Nir Eliyahu, Road 4 north from Mishmar HaShiva to Morasha, Road 20 from Mikve Israel to Galil Yam, Road 40 south from Givot Bar to Lehavim Junction, Road 90 North Afikim to the junction Plant and Road 85 East, from Carmiel Junction East to Rama Junction.
