Heads of regional councils in Judea and Samaria have come out against the Biden administration's request of Israel to "restrain" the building in Judea and Samaria.

"The building in Israel is only in the hands of the Israeli government, not in those of another one", said head of Samaria Regional Council Yossi Dagan. "The ball was always in Jerusalem's court, never in Washington's".

"The Israeli people will not accept washed-up words like 'restrain'", added Dagan, "which on the bottom line mean a freeze of construction in Judea and Samaria. The one who decides is Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, not Joe Biden."
