Colossal bust of illegal antiquities trade thwarted!

 A resident of Modi'in is suspected of trading in unlicensed antiquities including 1,800 coins that came from illegal excavations.

About 1,800 coins, clay tablets with pegs, and even ancient rings that were suspected of being robbed from ancient sites in the country - were seized at the home of a Modiin resident.  According to The Antiquities Authority, the merchant's intention was to sell the antiquities abroad.
