The British Prince Charles received a donation of one million pounds from the relatives of the leader of al-Qaeda who was killed Osama bin Laden, according to a report in the "Sunday Times".
The newspaper claimed that Prince Charles, held a meeting with Bakr bin Laden, the head of the bin Laden family, at his royal residence, Clarence House, in London on October 30, 2013, two years after the al-Qaeda leader was killed in a special operation by US forces.
According to the newspaper, Prince Charles agreed to take the donation despite initial objections from advisers at Clarence House and the Prince of Wales Charitable Trust (PWCF), where the money was eventually deposited.
According to the sources, some of Charles' advisers personally pleaded with him to return the money.
