Last night, an outstanding ceremony was held in Judea and Samaria, by Brigadier General Yaniv Alaluf, on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah.
The Shaked Battalion of the Givati Brigade received a certificate of excellence for its quality compliance for the defense mission in the Judea Squadron during Operation Guard of the Walls.
The battalion commanders and fighters worked tirelessly to protect the residents of the area during a challenging operational period, thwarted significant attacks, and carried out a variety of offensive activities to thwart terrorism in the area and ensure security for the residents.
From the words of the Commander of the Shaked Battalion, Lt. Col. Omri Moshiach:
"The battalion had the responsibility to defend the settlement in Hebron and Kiryat Arba during a particularly challenging period. I am glad that together with many partners in the operation, we were able to provide full security and a sense of security to the citizens. This is our goal and we achieved it thanks to the quality of our people."
