A new directive has been ordered from the King of Bahrain to his intelligence in relation to Israel.

Since the signing of the Avraham agreements, we have mainly heard about the growing relationship between Israel and the Emirates, but it turns out that the relationship with the other partner in the Gulf, Bahrain, is no less close. 

Hemed bin Issa al-Khalifa, King of Bahrain, is pushing for close intelligence cooperation with Israel, a French magazine reports. According to the report, the king urged the heads of his intelligence system to speed up the process of "technological change" it is undergoing in order to increase cooperation with Israel.

The "Strategic Security Agency", a new security body established by the kingdom in 2021, is responsible for direct security cooperation with Israel, it was reported. 

Israeli intelligence officers are expected to arrive in Bahrain soon to train foreign officers, the source added. In addition, Israel has agreed to share satellite images with Bahrain, as well as deals for the purchase of advanced Israeli weapons.

It should be noted that there is great importance in strengthening the Sunni rule in Bahrain since the country has a Shiite majority that most of it supports Iran and therefore the ayatollahs regime is stirring up the internal affairs of the kingdom.
