The U.S. Treasury Department this evening announced sanctions against four Iranians, including two senior members of the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), and two local companies that cooperated with the military body, and declared them a network linked to Iran's UAV program.

Senior officials on the list include Said Arjani, commander of the UAVs in the Air Force of the Revolutionary Guards, who led the attack on the Mercer Street tanker in the Gulf of Oman last July - where two crew members on a ship from Britain and Romania were killed.
This information was recently unveiled by Israeli Defense Minister Bnei Gantz and brouight to the US Authorities.
