We called on the Navy to understand how the sailors live on the ship without telephones and regardless of the outside world.
In addition, we interviewed soldiers from Company 916 belonging to the Sheldag 844 ship, in order to know whether they recommend the new recruits to come to the soldier.
Alon Moshe, the company commander, told us: "When I arrived at the corps, I was taught like this: 'Get used to vomiting or get used to the sea.' This is not a simple life, it's like living at home: kitchen, bathroom, constantly next to each other, there is nowhere to run and be alone. One has to face difficulties and be detached from the outside world."
One of the soldiers on the ship, Samuel shares: "I have been on the ship for a year, we see the Gaza Strip every day.
What keeps us going is the friends and the atmosphere, if not it would be impossible to endure especially when there is no connection to the outside world.
We wishe an easy and pleasant recruitment to the new sailors that are being recruited today!
