At the end of a tense month, which included several clashes on the Temple Mount between law enforcement and Muslim worshipers, some 3,000 policemen and borderfighters are stepping up across Jerusalem and blocking many streets in the capital.
"There are general warnings about the possibility of carrying out attacks, there is incitement in the networks"
Violent clashes broke out this morning (Friday) on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the last Friday of the month of Ramadan, at the end of a prayer attended by about 20,000 people.
Hundreds of rioters waved Hamas flags, fired fireworks and threw stones at police on the spot. When stones reached the Western Wall plaza and fell on the Jewish prayers below, the Police entered the Temple Mount and used means of dispersing demonstrations against the rioters.
