During the last few days, the intelligence of the Syrian regime arrested 34 members of militias affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and Hezbollah in several areas on charges of cooperation with the international coalition and with foreign entities.
Following these arrests, Revolutionary Guard officers, Hezbollah commanders and Syrian Air Force intelligence officers began interrogating the arrested militiamen.
The detainees are facing charges of cooperating with the "international coalition" and with external parties, and in monitoring the movements of the Iranians and Hezbollah and providing coordinates of headquarters, military sites and weapons depots in the Deir ez-Zor district, which led to military strikes in accordance with the intelligence received.
