Bibi Netanyahu posted this evening a part of MK Amichai Shikli's speech in the Knesset about the "elites" against the people.

"Your Honor, ex-Prime Minister Netanyahu, I would like to wish you health and longevity.

I learned that an employee of a news company defined last Friday how, in the light of history, your supporters will be remembered.

"Vulgar, inciting, kicking at every principle of stateliness," she said.

Later this week we heard from a former employee of the same news company that "there is a clear line between Rabin's assassination in the past year ... between people who believe in democracy and people who are trying to destroy it ...".

The message is clear: the people of the national camp, in their view, do not believe in democracy. They are clearly connected to Rabin's assassination, they are vulgar, inciting and kicking at every principle of stateliness.

But the truth is that there is nothing that frightens them more than the lovers of democracy, the people of Israel.

There is no system of government that they despise more than the democracy they seek to replace with a "substantial representative democracy" made up of their own people who hold "the right positions."

The national camp is today in a severe crisis arising from the defection, literally, of people who claimed to be camp leaders but broke under the pressure of hegemony and adopted the "right positions."

History will not judge them. They do not belong to the category of leaders. "Their future is behind them, they will not leave a mark, even if a piece of land is kept for them in the plot of the great men of the nation."
