NEWSRAEL: The Houthi attack shows that Biden's Foreign policy which can be summarized as "Not-Trump" has failed big time in the Middle East three important areas:

1. In doing all it can to passify the Iranians and return to the Iran Deal
2. In keeping the Middle Eastern countries (Israel and the Sunni nations) and their fears and interests from the negotiations with the Iranians
3. In taking the houthis off the list of terrorist organizations.

If you notice, all three of these issues were part of the trump policy, and seem to have been undone by the Biden administration not becuase they were failed policies, but because they were Trump policies, and needed to be erased by a woke, dull, unthinking voter base. 

The Wall Street Journal reports that preliminary investigations showed the Houthis used ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones to attack the United Arab Emirates capital, Abu Dhabi, and several areas in Saudi Arabia on Monday.

The newspaper quoted sources familiar with the investigation as saying that the attacks on the Musafah industrial zone in Abu Dhabi and the international airport in Abu Dhabi were among the most daring Houthi attacks since the war broke out between them and the legitimate Yemen government backed by Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi seven years ago.

The attack on Abu Dhabi killed three people and wounded six others, and it reflects a major development in the military capabilities of the Iranian-backed Houthis, the WSJ newspaper claims.

The paper said the attack was also aimed at areas in Saudi Arabia, noting that Saudi officials had confirmed the downing of 9 Houthi drones in several areas of the kingdom, on Monday.

Saudi Arabia and its coalition have responded to these airstrikes in which at least 11 people have been killed in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.

Saudi Deputy Defense Minister Prince Khaled bin Salman criticized the Houthis, accused Iran of military support and wrote on Twitter: "The Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist attack on Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates represents a threat to our region's security", adding: "Security Of the region has become just a card in negotiations (on the nuclear deal currently underway in Vienna)."

Earlier in the day, US newspapers said the UAE government was pressuring the Joe Biden administration to put the Houthis back on the terror list.

The U.S. State Department has strongly condemned the latest attack, saying it will work with the Emirates to punish the Houthis, and in response the Houthis have threatened to attack more important targets.
